UNIVERSAL ORLANDO
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
What to do...in order...
- Head straight to Diagon Alley in the back of the park.
- Since you have the Express Pass, go to Ollivander’s Wand Shop first.
- Then, use your Express Pass to ride Escape from Gringotts
- Walk around and explore Diagon Alley
- When you exit Diagon Alley, go left and ride Men In Black: Alien Attack
- Then, head to Springfield and ride The Simpsons Ride
- Walk towards the entrance of the park and ride Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
- Head to the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster
- I've never been on Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon but it has a virtual queue so you'll have to ask how it works. You can do this after the roller coaster.
- Then, do Transformers: The Ride 3-D
- Finally, head back towards Diagon Alley and catch the Hogwart's Express at King’s Cross Station to Islands of Adventure
Islands of Adventure
- You'll arrive into Hogsmeade Station. Turn right when exiting the station.
- First, ride the Dragon Challenge roller coaster
- Then, ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It's pretty intense but fun...lots of movement all over the place.
- After you exit Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, and are back near Hogsmeade, go towards the right to Jurassic Park.
- Ride the Jurassic Park River Adventure...you will get wet on this one.
- After Jurassic Park, ride Skull Island: Reign of Kong. I've never been on it so don't know what it's like. Should be cool since it's new.
- Then, time to get wet again...Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls. Fun log ride.
- And, if you want more water, ride Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges
- Time for one of the coolest rides there...The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
- End the day with a pretty intense roller coaster The Incredible Hulk Coaster
- If you're not exhausted and want to end on a chill kid ride, The Cat in the Hat is cute as is the whole Dr. Seuss Land
Time to sleep!!! Hope you had fun!!!
Universal Orlando Riders Guide for Expectant Mothers
Click here for the PDF of Universal’s list of rides for expectant mothers. I think that as long as strobe lights and motion simulators don't bother them, they could also ride:
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
- Men In Black: Alien Attack (slow moving ride on a track where you shoot targets with laser guns...might have some strobe lights)
- Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (there are stationary seats on this one)
- I've never been on Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon but I have a feeling it's not too bad. You might ask someone to make sure.
- Hogwart's Express at King’s Cross Station to Islands of Adventure
Islands of Adventure
- Not much here for pregnant mothers. :(
- Walk through the queue of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Don't ride it!
- Poseidon’s Fury - pretty cool effects on a walking attraction
- The Cat in the Hat and walk around the whole Dr. Seuss Land
- One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish - circular motion gondola ride
