Important Draft Notes

  • Rounds 1–3: Take the highest available player, but avoid starting with three RBs or three WRs.
  • Quarterback: Josh Allen is worth considering around Pick 45. Otherwise, wait until Rounds 7–9. Draft only one QB.
  • Tight end: Bowers and McBride justify an early pick. Otherwise, wait for the middle-round group.
  • Rounds 9–10: Favor high-upside RBs and WRs over backup QBs or TEs.
  • Final rounds: Take a defense next to last and a kicker last.

Round Choices

  • Rounds 1–3: Best elite RB or WR / RB or WR—prefer the opposite of Round 1 / Best RB/WR value.
  • Rounds 4-6: Mix of 3 WR / 2 RB
  • Round 7: TE
  • Round 8: QB
  • Rounds 9–10: Upside RB / WR
  • Rounds 11-12: D / K

  • Justin Jefferson at 14: Excellent value.
  • Brock Bowers or Trey McBride around 24–25: Worth considering despite the earlier TE cost.
  • Nico Collins at 26: Strong third-round WR1 candidate.
  • Kyren Williams at 44: Very attractive if available that late.
  • Tee Higgins at 48: Excellent WR value.
  • Lamar Jackson at 55: Fair price if you want an elite QB.
  • Justin Herbert at 94: One of my favorite reasons to wait at quarterback.
  • Brian Thomas Jr. at 89: Significant upside relative to this draft position.
  • Xavier Worthy at 107: Excellent ceiling for a Round 11 selection.
  • Dalton Kincaid at 121 or Jake Ferguson at 132: Strong argument for waiting even longer at TE.
