MARCH 25 WEDNESDAYARRIVAL INTO PARO AND DRIVE TO THIMPHU
FLIGHT: Bhutan Airlines from Delhi to Paro
- DRIVE: Paro Airport to Thimphu – ~55 km, 1 hr 30 min
- AFTERNOON: Visit Pangrizampa Astrology School & National Memorial Chorten
- DINNER: ZaSa Restaurant
- HOTEL: Le Méridien Thimphu
MARCH 26 THURSDAYTHIMPHU
- Buddha Dordenma Statue
- Tashichho Dzong
- Choki Traditional Art School
- LUNCH: Kalden Restaurant (try the cheesy egg dish)
MARCH 27 FRIDAYTHIMPHU
- MORNING: Authentic Crafts Bazaar
- Tango Buddhist Institute – 1 hr uphill hike
- Chagri Meditation Center – 1 hr hike
- Institute of Traditional Medicine Services
- EVENING: Chill at hotel
MARCH 28 SATURDAYTHIMPHU/PUNAKHA
- MORNING: Drive to Punakha (3 hrs, 85 km) via Dochula Pass
- Visit Punakha Dzong, Pho Chu Suspension Bridge, and Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten
- Get massage or just relax at hotel. Butter lamp ceremony.
- HOTEL: COMO Punahka
MARCH 29 SUNDAYPUNAKHA/PARO
- MORNING: Whitewater rafting on Pho Chu River (2–3 hrs)
- Drive to Paro (4 hrs, 125 km)
- Paro Tshechu ...if there is time, might be OK to just go on Monday
- DINNER: Zhiwaling Hotel Restaurant...how much more is it for a private dinner?
- HOTEL: Le Méridien Paro
MARCH 30 MONDAYPARO
- Paro Tshechu
- Tiger’s Nest Monastery (~5–6 hrs round trip)
- Hot Stone Bath at Aum Choden Homestay
- Kyichu Lhakhang or archery class with locals (OMSHA Travel Archery)...if there is time
- DINNER: 5 Dakinis Restaurant

Visas and Travel Documents
Japan requires a Disembarkation and Customs Declaration Card. You can get it here.
India requires an e-Visa which is available here. It is best to get the e-Tourist Visa since we will be flying from/to India.
Bhutan requires all visitors to pay a $100 per day fee when visiting the country. This can be paid to your tour operator. There is also a visa fee of $40. You can apply for it here.
